The Moore Republican Women held their May luncheon meeting at the Pinehurst Country Club in the main dining room, beginning at 11:30 A.M.  Club President, Kay Wildt, presided, and Major W. Linn Fisher, USAF, gave the invocation.  Featured speakers were:

●  Tim D'Annunzio, Candidate for U.S. House of Representatives for NC District 8
●  Rep. Richard Hudson, Incumbent - U.S. House of Representatives for NC District 8
●  John D. Zumwalt, Anti-Terrorism Expert & Instructor

April 4, 2016 Luncheon


The Moore Republican Women held their April luncheon at the Pinehurst Country Club beginning at 11:30 A.M. Kay Wildt, Club President, presided, and Lois Mitchell, Past President - MRW, gave the invocation. Featured speakers were (in the order of appearance):

(1) Jim Duncan, former candidate for U.S. House of Representatives (former NC District 2), who spoke to the group about the court rulings and legislative actions which led to his withdrawal from the campaign.

(2) Patrick Haggerty, Washington D.C. political and media expert who spoke about the 2016 presidential campaigns, drawing plenty of emotion and response from the audience.

● Mark Johnson, Candidate for NC Superintendent of Public Instruction
● Dr. Rosemary Stein, Candidate for NC Superintendent of Public Instruction
● A. J. Daoud, Candidate for NC Secretary of State
● Michael LaPaglia, Candidate for NC Secretary of State
